1. Purpose of the Position
With the growth of market share of Kistler marine engine and stationary engine in China, the current service capacity cannot meet the requirements from our customers on time. So, more human resource is needed to solve the lack of engine serive engineer to satisfy our customers. The purpose of this position is to support the business of marine engine and stationary engine in China.
2. Main Tasks
- Responsible for the installation and commissioning of engine products, such as cylinder pressure sensor, combustion analyzer, engine peak meter, and so on
- Diagnose and solve problems from customers
- Coordinate with sales to promote marine engine and stationary engine monitoring related products
- Coordinate with maintenance engineer to handle the technology problem from repair department
- Handle product quality problem
- Responsible for creating the list of problematic sensors for marine engine and stationary engine monitoring
- Support engine department’s marketing activities
- Finish tasks from service operations manager
3. Competencies
- Good ability of team work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skill and problem solving ability
- Good ability of language expression
- Good ability to work under pressure
- Good ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good self-learning ability
- Good ability in spoken and written English
- Good ability to operate office software
4. Requirements Profile
- At least bachelor degree in thermal energy and power engineering or internal combustion engine or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in marine or stationary engine test or equivalent
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Self-motivated and positive attitude of working
- Willing to learn new knowledge initiatively
- Willing to travel often
